Roshani Sewing School.

Roshani Sewing School for Women is a project of the Roshani Welfare Society, which runs the school with the help of the Social Welfare Department, Govt of Punjab, Pakistan. Since 2008, the school providing professional sewing training to girls from poor backgrounds.


While training, most of our trainees start earning and the school also helps in developing their customer base.

Training.

The school training is based on TEVTA's one-year dressmaking course focused on sewing, drafting, designing, and handmade and machine-made embroidery.


The school consists of training rooms and a workshop, where trainees not only learn the art of sewing but in our workshop, they also experience how to work on the production line. They also learn how to buy materials and maintain the quality.

Earning.

In our sewing school, 90 percent of sewing materials are from customers' orders. Only 10 percent is the training materials used in our course.


Our trainees are provided the opportunity under strict supervision to work on customer orders and also learn to maintain customer satisfaction. All the earnings from these orders are shared between these trainees and their trainers (No percentage taken by the school).
